After brainstorming through dozens of ideas on how we could help the elderly help themselves in times of distress, and evaluating the benefits and drawbacks of each, we decided to begin with a website (neither did we have money, nor the resources to launch a real estate solution). The website would allow people to access necessary information about the existing senior luxury centers at their finger-tips. It would market itself with a bigger purpose – eradicating the taboo that senior living centers have broken-up families. The aim was to help create a community of people who have moved/wish to move to such places. A one-stop go-to solution where current residents & their families share real-life experiences and honest opinions of their stays anonymously. Eventually, it shall allow elders to gain control of their own lives, provide them the mobility they need and a chance to develop and foster new social connections that shall outlast their lifetimes.

With the idea firm in mind, here was my first experience with wireframes. Having learnt about it in an online course, I was waiting for an opportunity to use it in a real project, and here was mine. Here are snapshots of the sketchy wireframes for the website -

Based on these, we built the prototype website - the site where these blogs have been published.
